Dr. Changqi Liu received his Ph.D. in Nutritional and Food Sciences from Florida State University in 2016, M.S. in Animal and Food Sciences from University of Kentucky in 2011, and B.S. in Food Quality and Safety from Sichuan Agricultural University in 2008. He joined San Diego State University as a faculty in 2016 and has been teaching NUTR 401 Advanced Science of Foods and NUTR 405 Experimental Food Science and Technology Laboratory. Dr. Liu’s research interests include: food allergen detection and characterization, underutilized and novel protein sources, sustainable food production, and functional foods.
